interACT @ Science is Wonderful!

interACT was presented in Science is Wonderful! Exhibition through an information stand. The event took place on 25^th and 26^th September 2019 together with the first edition of the European and Innovation Days (EU R&I Days) in Brussels. The Science is Wonderful! Exhibition is an annual event, which aims to bring the science to the public and especially to encourage children’s interest in science. During this event, live demonstrations, experiments as well as face-to-face discussions with the researchers take place, showing how science impacts our everyday lives in numerous fields.

A pedestrian simulator setup was presented by our partners (Tobias Volze from DLR and Annika Boos from TUM) to the visitors giving them the opportunity to experience a variety of traffic conditions from a pedestrian’s point of view in urban environments with some vehicles being automated.
