Two interact papers were presented in the HCI International 2019 that was held in Orlando, FL, USA from 26th to 31st July 2019. interact partner Florian Weber, from BMW, presented the scientific paper under the title Crossing the Street Across the Globe: A Study on the Effects of eHMI on Pedestrians in the US, Germany and China to more than 30 attendees. This paper won the best-paper award. Moreover, James Jenness, from Westat, presented the paper entitled Methodologies to understand the road user needs when interacting with automated vehicles was presented today during the Session ‘External human machine interfaces communicating intentions of automated vehicles’.
